The Physician Purchasing "Co-Op" is a network of physicians who have joined together to receive volume discounts on services and supplies and leverage in negotiating PPO contracts . It also is an electronic network to tie physicians into hospitals, IPAs, PPOs, reference labs and more.

This is not a management program. The physician's office remains completely under the control of the physician. Argus links the physician to our master PPO contracts, however all billing and collections for PPO contracts goes through the office under the physician's tax I.D. Likewise, Argus links the physician to master purchasing contracts, eg. malpractice insurance or medical supplies. The physician pays the vendor or broker directly, but receives our discounted rate. The office will also be given access to an internet based program which provides eligibility, lab results, and other services.
